Cardi B Sends Love To Britney Spears Amid Her Personal Drama - Says She Understands What She's Going Through

It seems like Cardi B feels for Britney Spears a lot and also relates to her struggle. While at the launch of her new Fashion Nova line, the rapper chatted with ET and that is when she mentioned Britney working out to one of her songs, I Like It.

And since this comes amid Britney’s personal and legal drama, Cardi made sure to show her support.

When asked about Britney’s workout video to her song, Cardi gushed over it, saying that ‘It’s so dope because I’m a very big Britney Spears fan.’

As she told the outlet this, in true Cardi fashion, she started to sing a bit of Britney’s 2007 song Piece of Me.

To the question of whether or not she would ever collab with Britney, Cardi did not hesitate to respond.

Instead of it being a question of ‘yes or no,’ Cardi made it very clear that it’s more of a ‘when,’ asking: ‘What day?’

Then, the female emcee got more serious and sent Britney a touching message of support in the aftermath of her completing treatment at a mental health facility, just last month.

‘I love you and I totally understand. Fame will really drive you insane. Not only will fame drive you insane, but it’s like, once you have money, and everybody just wants to take it from you, or sometimes you just have, like, your own personal problems. When you’re a celebrity, everyone wants to sue you, everyone wants a piece of the money that you work for — and it’s very frustrating,’ Cardi said.

She added that: ‘Then you have, like, the whole world looking at you, no privacy, it’s crazy. I can’t imagine if you do it for such a long time like her.’
