Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, as well as the daughter, Zaya, have been getting a lot of love and support from fellow celebs after it was revealed that she has come out as transgender and now going by the name Zaya, instead of the birth-given Zion.

Now it was Cardi B’s turn to talk about this and she made it very clear that transgender people are born this way so coming out helps them a lot since they do not have to hide their truth anymore.

Cardi started by making reference to something the NBA star shared on a Good Morning America.

According to the dad, his daughter knew she was a girl since she was 3, even though she was born in the wrong body.

The rapper argued that ‘People are born like that. And I know that a lot of people are old-school because the parents, grandparents that raised them, or the area they grew up in. A  lot of people do not grow up with trans, with gay people, this and that. They just don’t.’

‘So you know I understand they just don’t be understanding certain s**t, but please try. Because sometimes you’ll be wanting people to understand you. So try to understand someone else. Especially when it’s a child. A lot of people kept saying ‘If you don’t want people giving an opinion about your kid you should not put their business out there.’’

About this, Cardi said that people were already speculating that Zaya is a gay boy and would have continued to do so without knowing the truth so this way, they got their answer.

But most importantly, she argued that revealing it was good for the child because keeping a secret can be a huge ‘burden.’

‘You might as well be free and let it out. And while you are free and letting it out and telling the truth, why not educate. Why not educate. Speak your truth. Speak it and educate,’ Cardi said.
