Country music celebs Carly Pearce and Michael Ray have taken their relationship to the next level! The two apparently got engaged while on a vacation in Tulum on December 19.

The singer couple took to social media to share the big news after returning to their home from the very romantic pre-Christmas trip.

Carly posted a number of very sweet pictures on her platform of choice, showing Michael getting on one knee to pop the big question, but also a close up of the ring.

‘Michael, I would have married you the very first night that we hung out because I knew right then you were the one. You’ll always be my most precious example of God’s timing and of His love for me. I found home in you, and I will love you with everything that I have forever and a day,’ the happy woman captioned the gallery of photos.

Meanwhile, Michael also posted some pics, writing alongside them: ‘Dec. 19, 2018 [is when] my life changed for the better. I got down on one knee while in one of the most beautiful places that I have ever seen and looked into the eyes of the most beautiful soul that I’ve ever seen and asked her to be my wife!! Carly, you make everything make sense, every step of my life, good and bad was leading me to you. You’re the biggest blessing I ever have and will ever receive.’

As fans know, the two made their relationship public earlier this year, but they had been dating for a few months already at the time.
