Caroline Flack’s Boyfriend Breaks His Silence In Heartbreaking Tribute Following Her Shocking Suicide - ‘I'm In So Much Pain’

Former Love Island host Caroline Flack has passed away and now, her mourning boyfriend, Lewis Burton broke his silence about the terrible loss. Here’s what he had to say!

As you may know, Caroline was found dead on February 15, right after Valentine’s Day, in her apartment of a suspected suicide. She was only 40 years old.

Burton, 27, confessed that he is in ‘so much pain’ after losing the woman he loves in a heartbreaking tribute he posted on social media.

He took to Instagram to write: ‘My heart is broken we had something so special. I’m so lost for words I’m in so much pain I miss you so much I know that you felt safe with me you always said I do not think about anything else when I’m with you but I was not allowed to be there this time [even though] I kept asking and asking. I’ll be your voice baby I promise I’ll ask all the questions you wanted and I’ll get all of the answers nothing will bring you back but I’ll try make you proud every day. I love you with all my heart.’

Previously, the TV presenter’s loved ones released the following statement via Press Association: ‘We can confirm our Caroline passed away today on the 15th February. We ask that the press respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time.’

Later on, a lawyer representing the family confirmed that the cause of death was suicide.

Her shocking passing came a month before she was expected to appear in court on assault charges.

As you might know, she was previously arrested for supposedly attacking Burton with a lamp to the point that he received a ‘significant injury to his head.’

Caroline was released on bail but only after she agreed not to contact her boyfriend in the meantime.

The truth about what really happened between the two at the time has remained unclear, however.
