Chadwick Boseman Passes Away After 4 Years Of Secretly Battling Cancer

It looks like 2020 is not planning on giving us all a break from pain and mourning as yet another wonderful person loved by many has passed away. Chadwick Boseman, most known for his main role in Black Panther, has lost a long battle with colon cancer!
His loved ones took to social media to confirm the actor’s untimely passing at the age of just 43.
Furthermore, the same statement also revealed for the first time that Boseman had suffered from cancer for the past 4 years or so, something the public never knew until now.
There were, however, suspicions that something was wrong health-wise, since the star had been photographed out and about looking really thin and even needing the support of a cane to walk.
Apparently, in 2016, he was diagnosed with colon cancer which was already in stage three.
Regardless, he managed to fight it for four more years, going through excruciating pain and even surgeries in between filming for multiple successful movies without letting the public know what he was experiencing in his personal life.
The Twitter post released by his family earlier today reads: ‘It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman. Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV. A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.’

The message goes on to read that: ‘It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther. He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side. The family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time.’
