Channing Tatum Launches Restraining Order Against Woman Who Hid At His Home For Nearly Two Weeks

According to Page Six, Channing Tatum recently took to a court of law to protect himself, his child, and his soon-to-be ex-wife. The 21 Jump Street alum filed a temporary restraining order and civil harassment order against a 36-year-old woman from California whom he accused of breaking into his house.

In court documents obtained by The Blast, it was alleged that the Californian woman hid inside Channing Tatum’s property for approximately ten days before she was finally arrested on the 24th of June.

The 39-year-old The Hateful Eight star also requested protection for his personal assistant, his estranged spouse, Jenna Dewan, and his daughter, Everly.

As it was previously reported, Tatum and Dewan filed for divorce but it hasn’t been officiated by the courts yet. In the court documents, Tatum and his attorney are reported as saying that he, Jenna, and his daughter are threatened by the behavior of this woman.

With that said, however, neither Channing nor Jenna have encountered this woman face-to-face, but his assistants have. Reportedly, the woman in question went to his home on the 9th of November, 2018, and remained at his home for approximately five hours.

Furthermore, she came back again two days later on the 11th of November and dropped a letter on the property. The Blast reported that the letter shows the woman has delusional beliefs, including thinking she has met Tatum and other unrevealed “falsehoods.”

The 21 Jump Street star also described the woman’s behavior in the documents as both “alarming” and “very annoying.” As a consequence of his requests, the judge granted the restraining orders for both Tatum and Dewan, as well as their daughter. However, the requests were denied for the personal assistants, although, there will be another court hearing on the 23rd of July.

Stalking and other invasive behavior is a common complaint among celebrities and public figures, who, frequently are the target of strange and bizarre behavior, including death threats, mail, online harassment, and such as this case, flat-out physical stalking.
