Now, Budden is looking for another place to host his popular program. The Breakfast Club recently touched on Joe Budden‘s controversial outing, with Charlamagne suggesting that maybe Budden’s negotiation skills weren’t that great.

Reportedly. Charlamagne Tha God said to his fellow co-hosts that Budden was the type of guy who knew his own worth but didn’t know how to negotiate effectively to get what he wanted.

You can see what Budden had to say about Charlamagne Tha God’s comments below:

Charlamagne claimed that if Joe Budden keeps doing deals with corporations and getting less than what he wanted, then it’s on him. He went on to say that all kinds of bonuses have to be negotiated right away from the beginning.

Moreover, DJ Envy touched on the importance of agents, lawyers, and managers, in hammering out these deals on the behalf of the artists. Charlamagne added that Joe Budden’s comparison of his own show to other brands was a false equivalency.

Charlamagne said he was comparing himself to entire networks, so it wasn’t the same thing. Regardless, Joe Budden has one of the most popular podcasts in the game right now.

Another podcaster who recently switched to Spotify was Joe Rogan, although, Joe is obviously happy with how it went because he is just starting with them this year.

Joe Budden was in the headlines again this year for his quasi-beef with Logic. As most know, Budden has been very vocal for his distaste with Logic over the years. Budden has described him as one of the worst rappers of all time.

Logic said in one interview that Joe’s words make people want to kill themselves, and Joe responded by claiming Logic was “reverse-bullying” him. Logic, who announced he was going to drop one more album before he retired, spoke on the “dark days” of his career.

Charlemagne Tha God, on the other hand, recently dubbed Tory Lanez as the “Donkey of the Day” for his Megan Thee Stallion foot-shooting scandal.
