Chris Brown Says Netflix Should Adopt Music Videos To Give Artists More Exposure

Netflix’s innovation has proven to be a game-changer in the world of television, movies, documentaries, and other parts of the film and TV business. However, one area they haven’t touched yet is music, more specifically music videos.

Hot New Hip Hop picked up on comments this week in which the singer-songwriter, Chris Brown, suggested for Netflix to begin streaming music videos on their platform. According to Brown, this would result in a lot of exposure to new and old artists.

On his Instagram Story this Thursday, Brown made his suggestion and claimed it would be “kinda cool” if Netflix streamed music videos. He added that it would “give artists h*lla exposure.”

Many social media users agreed and said it would be really cool if Netflix started to do this, that way, movies, documentaries, television shows, and music videos could all exist in the same place. More importantly, it would help out artists who need more streams of income.

Reportedly, Brown has been a lot more active on his social media account lately, including when he took to his platform to share a selfie. The singer wrote in the caption of the photograph, “your blessings come from your attitude. BE BLESSED.”

This came shortly after it was revealed that the rapper, Kanye West, had purchased a half-a-million-dollar tank for Brown. Brown thanked Kanye on his account while also showing off his brand new military-grade tank. It’s not clear why the rapper bought it for him, or what Chris plans to do with it, but fans were elated at the gift which is certainly out of the ordinary.

In other news, it was revealed earlier this month that Brown had started his own OnlyFans account, joining the ranks of Cardi B, Blac Chyna, B. Simone, Amber Rose, and Michael B. Jordan, among others. Hot New Hip Hop says fans were thrilled.

Other social media users have argued, however, that OnlyFans should be left for s*x workers instead of already-wealthy celebrities who are merely looking for another source of income amid the coronavirus pandemic.
