Chrissy Teigen can’t catch a break. After suffering a very public miscarriage that had people attacking her for sharing too much information, she is now being slammed after saying she has nothing. The comments weren’t made as if Chrissy was complaining about her life. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Chrissy has had a very difficult time since losing her baby whom she named Jack. The baby was stillborn and Chrissy has been an emotional wreck ever since.
She has been in therapy and shared a photo of a baby horse where she said her therapist recommended that she do something that is just for her. Chrissy’s response was to take up horseback riding and she shared a photo of a beautiful black horse on her official Twitter account. In her photo’s caption, Chrissy stated the following.
My therapist says I need something that I do for just me, as I have absolutely nothing currently lol. Today begins my journey into the horse world, I hope this dude likes me. He’s so handsome and appears lazy, I love.
Because Chrissy wrote that she had ‘absolutely nothing’ some people took offense and thought that Chrissy was complaining about her life during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many people have lost their jobs and are unable to make ends meet. Chrissy and John spent a wonderful vacation on a yacht during Christmas and many in the public were outraged that Chrissy used the words ‘absolutely nothing’ in her post. Chrissy took ownership of the snafu and said that her words were being misinterpreted.

One person left this remark in the comment section under Chrissy’s Twitter post.
A lot of people are unemployed and struggling to feed their family in the midst of a pandemic. Maybe now isn’t a great time to say you “have nothing” so you bought a horse to entertain yourself.
Another person was offended that Chrissy was in therapy.
Oh and kudos on being able to afford therapy! Teachers & students are being forced into classrooms during a pandemic bc our kids are having “mental health issues” & apparently the answer is not therapy/horses but more in-person Math instruction.. So have you tried Math?
