Chrissy Teigen is going viral and not for reasons she’d want. On Saturday, March 30, 2019, Chrissy Teigen shared a video about a face rash she suddenly broke out with. According to the tweet, she is having some sort of reaction to something. She showed one side of her face that had a distinct red patch near the cheek, but when she turned to show the other side it was a full on eruption.
She captioned the video with the following.
“I’m having a reaction, pray for me.”
Teigen’s 11 million followers immediately offered their love, support, and advice. Many suggested the model and mother take Benadryl and if the condition continues or increases in severity to go to the emergency room.
The tweet has gone viral and though many people are offering love and compassion to Chrissy, there are others who couldn’t help but give her rash the meme treatment.

Chrissy Teigen didn’t go into detail about when the reaction occurred or when she first saw the rash. She also didn’t indicate what may have caused the initial reaction. It’s unclear if she used a new product, ate new food, applied something to her face or was possibly bitten by something that could have caused the skin reaction.
Many people urged her to get in touch with her doctor immediately. As of the time of this posting, Chrissy hasn’t posted an update or provided any information regarding getting in touch with her doctor. Chrissy is very good about posting social media updates so it is very likely that as soon as she finds out what is going on she will let her fans know as well.
The reaction on Chrissy’s face looked pretty severe as there were many, visible raised bumps and her face was red. It’s important that in these types of situations to be on guard for anaphylactic reactions such as shock. If Chrissy notices significant swelling or has any trouble breathing, she should get to her closest emergency room immediately.
What do you think of Chrissy’s skin reaction? Do you have any ideas what may have caused it?
