Slater, however, has two other children, Jaden Christopher, 20, and Eliana Sophia, who’s 18-years-old, with his ex, Ryan Haddon. In December 2013, Slater and his fiancée got married in a private ceremony in Florida, moreover, the proposal was kept away from the media spotlight.

Although, Jimmy Fallon did spill the beans on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. “Congratulations, you’re engaged!” the host said to the actor, and Christian said in response, “yeah, that’s true.” As it was previously reported, they first met while on vacation at the Florida Little Palm Island.

Slater told the story of how they met on the show, stating that Brittany was with an older woman, and while he was eating his oatmeal, he noticed what was going on and thought, at first, they were getting married, because the spot was famous for people proposing to each other.

However, after some conversation, Slater discovered Lopez was actually with her aunt, and she was just trying to help her get a feeling for the park. The next thing he knew, he was hanging out with her in the Everglades, and it was all history from there.

Christian, for the most part, has kept out of the public spotlight for the majority of his career. Some of the most iconic roles he had include Interview With A Vampire, starring Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Kirsten Dunst, and Antonio Banderas.

He also had a role in the cult classic, True Romance, starring Patricia Arquette and himself, whose screenplay was actually written by the iconic director, Quentin Tarantino. Slater also had a role in the critically acclaimed movie from Lars Von Trier, Nymphomaniac, starring Charlotte Gainsbourg and Shia LaBeouf.

However, he did run into trouble a few times throughout his career, including an arrest back in 1989 for drinking and driving. Five years later, he was taken into police custody for taking a gun on an airplane. Three years later in 1997, Slater found himself in trouble with the authorities again when he got into an altercation with the police while high on drugs.
