Ciara took to social media where she posted a sweet congratulatory message to Russell Wilson who is making headlines
and entering the history books by becoming the highest-paid player in the NFL.
Russell and the Seattle Seahawks have signed a four-year agreement worth $140 million plus bonus. The athlete announced the big news in a video where he is in bed with Ciara.
Ciara also wrote a sweet post to her husband: “I watch you put everything on the line every Sunday in pure amazement. Your dedication, consistency, and commitment to the game never wavered. You’re always the first person in, and the last person out. You’re 1 of 1. The hardest working man I know! So proud of you baby! Giving God All the praise. #GoHawks”
T.I.’s wife, Tiny Harris, wrote this message to the couple: “Okay now!! Congratulations. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽” Tamar Braxton added: “They that wait on the Lord!!! 🤷🏽♀️👏🏽👏🏽💕” Kandi Burruss said: “👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Congratulations.”
One fan reacted to the major news by saying: “He got more money than Future baby! 😎😂@ciara I’m so happy you left future and got you a king we can see your glow and happiness ! 👑 and 👑 We need the Russell Wilson prayer. Brother is winning on all fronts.”
This Instagrammer revealed: “@ciara @dangerusswilson I agree. I watch his post, and he is always working hard and loving his family. Congratulations. God due to all praise. I am choking on tears at this moment. Yass Qween!!! The blessing of Abraham is on you and your husband!! #BlackLove 🙌🏾🙌🏾❤”
This critic slammed the NFL player: “$51,250,000 a year for a sport while there are people in the military, law enforcement, firefighting, first responders in general that put their lives on the line every day that will probably never see that type of money and y’ all are saying it’s “well deserved”???? This world is backward.”
Russell’s agent, Mark Rodgers, told the AP: “Russell’s goal and his hope was that he would continue his career with the Seahawks and continue to bring championships to this town. He believes there is still unfinished business and he is looking forward to pursuing that without having to worry about contracts and his future.”
Ciara and her husband seem to have a strong foundation and are building a solid brand.
