Dressed in all black in contrast with the Democratic politician, Melania Trump stood strong and tall as her husband, President Donald Trump, gave his State of the Union address.
Even before President Trump spoke before the chamber of the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, D.C., Melania, who apparently saw a preview of the speech, was proud of the message he was going to deliver to the American people.
According to Hollywood Life, FLOTUS felt great about the big night and knew that he was going to unify the nation.
A source had the following to say about FLOTUS’ state of mind: “Melania is not nervous at all for Donald’s upcoming big speech, she is looking forward to it. She is confident Donald will deliver a powerful and unifying State of the Union Address. She feels he is going to do well and Melania has been supporting Donald the last several days as he prepares.”
The family friend claimed that The Donald shared his ideas with her and she was pleased to play a part.
The insider stated: “She has been listening to his ideas for the speech and sharing her own feedback and thoughts on his big moment. She is eager to watch him deliver his important address to the world and will be listening closely.”
Trump mentioned unity and quickly went on to blast the “partisan investigations” being led by special counsel Robert Mueller.
He said: “An economic miracle is taking place in the United States and the only thing that can stop it are foolish wars, politics or ridiculous partisan investigations. If there is going to be peace and legislation, there cannot be war and investigation. It just doesn’t work that way.”
POTUS added: “We must be united at home to defeat our adversaries abroad. This new era of cooperation can start with finally confirming the more than 300 highly qualified nominees who are still stuck in the Senate, in some cases years and years waiting. Now is the time for bipartisan action.”
The former reality star also explained: “Together, we can break decades of political stalemate. We can bridge old divisions, heal old wounds, build new coalitions, forge new solutions, and unlock the extraordinary promise of America’s future. The decision is ours to make.”
Trump said one thing and will do something else, according to experts.
