Counting On Fans Are Sure Joy-Anna Duggar And Austin Forsyth Are Pregnant With Baby No 2

Counting On stars Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth recently enjoyed a weekend trip together, and that’s all it took for some fans to believe that baby number two is on the way. Duggar and Forsyth went to Branson, Missouri, for a couple’s retreat, but it’s the timing of the trip that had fans talking.

The couple shared a pic of their weekend getaway and explained to fans that Forsyth’s parents were watching their son, Gideon. Of course, parents of a young child deserve a weekend alone every once in a while, but Duggar and Forsyth chose to travel out-of-town on their son’s first birthday.

According to OK! Magazine, some of the couple’s Instagram followers were sure the reality stars were making Gideon a younger brother or sister.

“Baby #2 in the making???” asked one follower. “Not so secretly rooting for Gideon to have a baby sibling on the way soon,” joked another.

However, others were quick to criticize their decision, and couldn’t believe Duggar and Forsyth would post about spending a weekend alone on February 23rd, Gideon’s birthday.

One fan wrote that they thought it would be more important for the reality stars to spend the day with their son instead of at a retreat, and it appears that they “wanna deny and forget” their son.

Another commented that Gideon would someday ask about his first birthday, and his parents will have to tell him that they weren’t around.

After multiple critical comments, Joy-Anna’s big sister, Jessa Duggar Seewald, had to put a stop to it, and told fans that Joy-Anna and Austin were “great parents.”

“All these people acting like you wouldn’t remember it’s the one-year anniversary of the most physically exhausting and simultaneously most joyous day of your life. Really??” Jessa wrote. “Girl, I know y’all are heading back to celebrate Gideon’s bday, but seriously, even if you did stay away one more day, it’s not like he’d know you were celebrating later.”

Jessa’s comment received multiple likes, and it turned the conversation. Fans started popping up to praise Joy-Anna and Austin for taking the opportunity to spend some time alone.

Later, Joy-Anna Duggar thanked her sister for coming to her defense, and she also made it clear that she and Austin made it home later that day to celebrate Gideon’s birthday.
