“Our lives have changed forever with the arrival of our baby girl,” the couple told Us Weekly. “She is a beautiful gift from God. We are so blessed the Lord has given her to us. It’s still surreal to know that we are really parents, but it’s a great new adventure that we are excited to take on together.”

The arrival of baby Grace ends the first big Duggar baby boom that started in January 2019 when Jessa Duggar announced she was expecting baby number three with her husband, Ben Seewald. She gave birth to daughter Ivy Jane in May.

In November, three new Duggars arrived within days of each other. Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell welcome their second child on November 2nd, a little girl they named Addison Renee. And, on November 8th, Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson welcomed their first child, a daughter they named Bella Milagro.

Then, on November 27th, Josh and Anna Duggar’s sixth child – a daughter they named Maryella Hope – entered the world.

John David and Abbie Grace tied the knot in November 2018 and announced they were expecting in August 2019. The couple opened up about the difficult pregnancy during the most recent season of Counting On. Abbie Grace suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum, which is also known as extreme morning sickness.

John David Duggar said that “it hit her hard,” and Abbie Grace was down for nearly two months because of it. The couple found themselves in the emergency room a few times because of dehydration, and John David explained that his wife wasn’t able to eat or drink anything.

He said it was a “scary time” because Abbie Grace was on IVs both in the hospital and at home. When she was “feeling awful,” Abbie Grace said during one of her Counting On confessionals that she had to remind herself why she was so sick.

“It honestly hasn’t been very enjoyable. I just keep saying, ‘There’s a baby coming! There’s a baby coming! This has a good ending,” said Abbie Grace Burnett.
