Counting On - Joseph Duggar And Kendra Caldwell Welcome Baby Number Two

Counting On stars Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell are officially the parents of two! The young couple welcomed their daughter Addison Renee on Saturday morning, November 2nd, at 5:33 a.m. The baby reportedly weighs seven pounds and 12.5 ounces, and she measures 20.5 inches long. Both mom and baby are reportedly doing great.

“Addison Renee has made us a family of four and we are already so in love with her!” the couple wrote on Instagram in the caption of a pic of their new daughter. “She made a quick arrival in the early hours of the morning and has already melted our hearts. We know Garrett is going to be a great big brother. Children are each a special gift from God and we are so happy our newest blessing is here.”

Duggar and Caldwell have been quite busy in the past two and a half years. The 24-year-old Duggar popped the question to Caldwell during his sister Joy-Anna’s wedding reception with Austin Forsyth back in May 2017. By September of that year, the couple was husband and wife. And, just a few weeks later, they announced they were expecting their first child.

Exactly nine months after tying the knot, Duggar and Caldwell welcomed baby Garrett in June 2018. And now, just 17 months later, they are a family of four.

Duggar and Caldwell announced the news of their second pregnancy back in April when Garrett was just ten months old. The couple told Us Weekly that they were ready to double the fun in their house, and they added that being parents has already proven to be a greater joy than they could have hoped or imagined.

The couple says that no matter how many times they have experienced the joy of babies being born in their respective families, there’s nothing that compares to the joy in their hearts when their own children are born.

The 21-year-old Caldwell says that having two kids under the age of two isn’t going to be easy, but she and her husband are excited about this new chapter in their lives. She says that they were able to get into a “napping, changing diapers groove” with Garrett, but she’s sure that having a new baby will keep both her and Duggar busy. And, their hands will be tied up taking care of little ones.
