Cynthia Bailey Has Hope For Her Friendship With 'RHOA' Co-star Nene Leakes: "We Could Get Past This"

Cynthia Bailey didn’t say much on social media after being called sneaky and underhanded by her frenemy Nene Leakes. However, Page Six caught up with the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star and she spoke on the future of her friendship with her co-star.

Although Nene claims that the girls on the show are not her friends but merely her co-workers, Cynthia has hope that they will reconcile after this drama.

“I’ve always been a friend to her, and if she’s really my girl like she’s claimed to be my girl then we could get past this.”

She also referenced her comment on a video of Leakes shading the girls. Cynthia tagged her eyewear line which cracked Porsha Williams up.

It turns out that Nene was wearing Cynthia Bailer Eyewear in the video. The sunglasses are valued at nearly $300 but have been reduced to $99 and the 52-year-old saw the perfect instance to promote the brand.

“But I noticed she was wearing my eyewear, though, so I need to tag Cynthia Bailey eyewear. I appreciate that. It’s good when we support each other even when we’re mad at each other.”

She also spilled some tea on the upcoming reunion. Apparently, ‘some stuff went down’ that was very tricky to Bailey who claims she was just telling her truth.

If you ask Nene, the actress thinks that the woman she once called her friend is working against her.

In the video that went viral, Leakes told her followers on Instagram Live: “Going a step further, you guys only see a very small part of our lives. Cynthia has done a lot of stuff in my opinion on the down low, and very sneaky and underhanded. I’m just telling you the truth… She has done a lot of stuff that you all just don’t get to see on the show that’s underhanded and I always come out looking like the bad guy.”
