He also shared the following message for Easter: ‘On Good Friday, Jesus died taking all of our sins on his shoulders, in order that we might be forgiven. On #EasterSunday He rose again, conquering death so that we might have life everlasting! Today, I encourage you to reflect on the many sacrifices and ordered steps necessary to make it this far. No matter where you are on your journey, give yourself grace to make mistakes— after all, through Christ our sins have already been forgiven,’ David wrote.

He also said that ‘We do not need to be perfect, you just need to keep trying. Going into this new week and a new season, I pray that we all continue to have faith and resilience. Let us practice patience, love, forgiveness and understanding, the way our Lord taught us. “Great is our Lord and mighty in power. His understanding has no limit.” (Psalm 147:5)’

David is doing his best to recover following the loss of a loved one.
