Earlier today, the proud father expressed his excitement and happiness that his son has found love and is ready for such a big step in his life.

The heartwarming words written alongside a pic of the engaged couple read: ‘Congratulations to these two beautiful people. As they begin this exciting journey together we are so so happy for you guys.’

Nicola was definitely very appreciative of the sweet words and made sure to respond with four heart emojis in the comment section.

As mentioned before, Victoria was also just as excited for their son and his bride’s future, previously posting on her own Instagram a message that reads: ‘The MOST exciting news!! This comes only a day after the 20 year old son took everyone by surprise with the engagement announcement.

He and The Last Airbender actress were first seen together almost a year ago.

The in love young man shared a snap of Nicola and he, her emerald diamond ring being very much visible on her finger.

Alongside it, he wrote: ‘Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes I am the luckiest man in the world.’
