Demi Lovato is trying daring new looks, and fans are going crazy over the change. Sharing photos on her social media pages, Demi Lovato showed off her new hairstyle that includes a short, asymmetrical cut with a shaved side, and long, choppy pieces that are brushed to the other side of her face. Her hair color has transitioned from dark brunette to golden blonde with plenty of honey-colored streaks. Demi credited celebrity hairstylist Paul Norton (who frequently does Demi’s hair) and colorist Alchemist Amber with her new look.

Demi’s new look follows her split with ex-fiancé Max Ehrich. Demi also hosted the People’s Choice Awards and though she looked gorgeous, she wore her hair long, dark, and past her waist. Demi won praise for her look from fans and fashion critics alike, but it seems she wasn’t ready to commit to the long, blonde locks. No sooner did Demi put her beauty on display at the People’s Choice Awards that she radically changed her look. Or is it possible the People’s Choice Awards was a practice run for her new look, specifically, her blonde hair?

When Demi Lovato arrived at the People’s Choice Awards, her hair was long and dark. However; she went through several wardrobe changes and wore a long, blonde wig for the rest of the show.
