While in attendance at Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s second wedding, Diplo was apparently put in a ‘holding cell’ so that they could avoid what happened the first time around in Las Vegas. As you may know, the DJ hilariously live streamed pretty much the whole ceremony on Instagram even though the whole thing was supposed to remain under wraps!

Of course, Joe and Sophie were not too upset and they later joked about it during interviews, roasting Diplo for being so addicted to his social media.

But that was just a spontaneous wedding for fun while this second one that took place last night in France, is much more meaningful for the pair which is why keeping it personal and intimate was crucial.

As a result, they made sure Diplo could not expose the festivities again.

The DJ took to his platform earlier today to finally update his followers, saying that his rather brief inactivity on Instagram was because they took his phone away at the wedding.

‘This is the only photo that I got from Joe and Sophie Turner Jonas’ wedding because they took my phone away from me and put me in a holding cell during the ceremony. Heard it was lovely tho,’ he joked.

In the photo he posted, the musician looked handsome in a black suit, accessorizing with a pair of dress shoes and brown sunglasses.

In response to the post, Ryan Tedder jokingly called him a ‘Sucker’ for supposedly missing out all the fun, before adding: ‘We were hot AF tho weren’t we?’

In the end, all that matters is that the newlywed couple is happy and in love. Congratulations Sophie and Joe!
