Reportedly, DJ Akademiks and Celina Powell may be back together, a new report from Hot New Hip Hop announced today. Celina Powell, who many in the hip-hop community have dubbed as Black Widow, just received a new Mercedes Benz G-Wagon, and she showed it off on her IG.

She also revealed that it was DJ Akademiks who bought it for her. Celina wrote in her post, “MY MAN SAID F*CK A BIRKIN AND GOT ME 2020 G WAGON.” According to Hot New Hip Hop, Celina and the media personality have gone through a lot over the years.

Akademiks responded to the post with a nice message of his own while at the same time slamming all of the women out there who have a “Birkins these days.” The media personality went on to say he had to get a car for a “true queen and a boss.”

For many people, it’s hard to admit that Celina Powell is successful at what she does, despite the fact many have criticized her for the nature of her success. Hot New Hip Hop says she has fostered a career out of dating rappers and talking about it as a YouTuber and podcaster.

In recent news, Celina was hosting a podcast on the No Jumper channel, however, there was drama between Lena The Plug and Adam22. Celina was eventually dropped from her position.

DJ Akademiks, on the other hand, is in a similar position in the hip-hop world. The Youtuber has a large following for his take on various news in the rap community and the black community, and he has certainly been put on blast before as well.

For instance, it was rumored earlier this year that Akademiks had his account suspended after he criticized Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. DJ poked fun at John Legend’s latest record which he claimed didn’t sell as well as his past albums.

Later, it was reported by several outlets that he lost his job at Complex, but he came out after to say the rumors were simply untrue.
