According to Hot New Hip Hop, this past week hasn’t exactly been a great time for YK Osiris, who has reportedly been taking a lot of heat on social media, including from the commentator, DJ Akademiks. The outlet says Osiris recently tried to flex but failed to impress with a brand new Gucci jacket.
Hot New Hip Hop says YK Osiris was flamed by some of the biggest rappers in the game, including Mustard, 21 Savage, and Meek Mill, just to name a few. Clearly, his flex didn’t end the way he wanted.
Since then, Osiris appeared on IG Live where he spoke with DJ Akademiks about how he had supposedly been offered thousands of dollars for the custom Gucci jacket. The rapper told the social media star that someone was trying to buy his coat, adding that he was “dead serious.”
DJ Akademiks clearly wasn’t buying it, because he had a look of incredulity on his face and started back at the rapper as if to say that he didn’t believe him at all. The media personality went on to say to YK Osiris that no one was trying to buy his jacket.
“I can’t tell if you’re trolling or if you’re serious,” Akademiks stated, adding that nobody was trying to buy his coat. You can check out part of this exchange in the IG post below:
When asked how much money he was being offered for the coat, Osiris said someone offered him $30,000. DJ Akademiks then got sick of the conversation and clearly wasn’t interested in continuing with it. Akademiks then said, “I can’t stand these lies.”
According to Hot New Hip Hop, YK Osiris later spoke with Lil’ Yachty about the reports that he had purchased a $3 million home. The outlet says he tried to shame him for it, but Lil’ Yachty wasn’t having it at all, telling Osiris that his friends needed “life in prison.”
This wouldn’t be the first time Osiris was in the headlines recently. Previously, he was supposed to fight Trippie Redd in a boxing match, but the Pegasus artist backed out at the last minute.
