‘DMX’s family shut down floating rumours regarding the late rapper’s masters, finances and merchandise, according to TMZ, cited by TSR.

TSR also noted that ‘The family addressed a now-viral tweet that claimed #JayZ and #Beyoncé allegedly planned to purchase and regift DMX’s masters to his children. They expressed that the masters “aren’t in play” with the stars. Although #DefJam has some masters under control, they are not owned directly by Jay-Z,’ TSR says, citing info from TMZ.

‘The family also wants ‘fans to be wary’ about scammers soliciting money for funeral expenses and others selling DMX merchandise. At this time, DMX’s family is not raising capital or selling merchandise,’ TSR notes.
