DMX’s Fiancée Pays A Heartbreaking Tribute To Him After The Rapper's Passing

It’s been less than two weeks since the beloved rapper passed away and now, DMX’s fiancee, Desiree Lindstrom, took to her IG account to pay a heartbreaking tribute to him. Check out what she had to say in his memory!
As you might know, DMX also fathered her son, Exodus, so she made sure to show gratitude over having the child with the late rapper, as well as just having had him in her life.
Alongside a selfie featuring the two of them, the mourning Desiree wrote in the caption: ‘The first night that we met and you held me close. I knew that I would never let go. I was lost in you and just nothing else mattered. My best friend, baby, my love…my everything. Thank you for us two. Thank you for Exodus. Thank you God for Earl Simmons [DMX’s real name]…forever X.’
The picture showed Desiree and the rapper seemingly at a bar or club, just enjoying every second with each other.
After all, they were posing really close to one another, lost in the moment and looking in love.

Fans were quick to send the mourning woman their love and positive messages, writing in the comments things like:
‘Praying for god to comfort you . It is really so sad. I pray you find peace and strength during a hard time.’
Another follower also commented: ‘Gosh, this one TRULY hurts. I legit cried. Still in disbelief.’
Desiree’s tribute post was not the only thing she did to celebrate the man she loves.
She also got a tattoo in his honor to remember DMX forever.
In an April 11 post, she showed off the new ink on her inner forearm that reads: ‘Dog Love’ and the ‘X’ logo.
As for the meaning, TMZ reported that ‘Our sources say Desiree considers a dog’s love to be unconditional, much like X’s.’
DMX died at the age of just 50, a week after suffering a heart attack.
