Doja Cat Defends Cardi B And Megan Thee Stallion's 'WAP' Video - Cardi B Takes Notice

Doja Cat recently came out to defend Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B amid the release of their brand new song together, “WAP,” which was criticized by many of their fans for including Kylie Jenner and Rosalia instead of other prominent black women.
Hot New Hip Hop says the music video has also been accused of being far too pornographic, however, Cardi B claims she isn’t the first female rapper to introduce extremely sexual themes in her music.
Cardi shouted out to performing artists such as Lil’ Kim, Trina, and Khia, among others, as pioneers. Furthermore, Doja Cat released a tweet this week in which she mocked the song’s critics. The performing artist said a lot of people got into a time machine from the 1940s and came into 2020.

Cardi B responded by claiming, “there were vulgar songs around that time too.”

As it was noted above, Megan and Cardi’s new track together has already sparked controversy on other fronts. In fact, there were so many enraged fans who were unhappy with Kylie Jenner’s brief appearence that they started an online petition asking for her removal.
The petition accused Kylie Jenner and her family of exploiting black culture for decades and using it to merely prop themselves up while leaving nothing for the culture’s creators.
Interestingly, this came around the same time as the shooting controversy between Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez, in which it was rumored that Megan and Tory had gotten into a jealous fight over the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.
Obviously, there isn’t that much bad blood between Kylie and Megan otherwise they wouldn’t have worked together in a music video.
Doja Cat has had her own problems this year too. The rising star was accused of hanging out in racist chat rooms, in addition to making anti-Arab tweets. The artist later apologized for her remarks and said she spent a lot of her youth in chat rooms.
