For the political buffs and American voters eager to see a match up between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden, who seems to have the numbers to win the Democratic nomination for president — there is a possibility that they will be very disappointed.

Trump, who is famous for his wild stunts that keep the media and his fans highly entertained, is hesitant about partaking in the debates against the Democrat who wins the primaries.

According to a report that surfaced in The New York Times, the former reality TV star has been talking to his campaign advisers about skipping the general election debates in 2020 because he does not trust the Commission on Presidential Debates.

Trump firmly believes the odd theory that the nonprofit organization that puts on the debates will pick moderators he disapproves of.

This is not the first time Trump has pulled the “skipping debate stunt.” He also did this during the 2016 Republican primary for president and blamed the move on Megyn Kelly.

Some say, Trump, who is a terrible and messy debater, is afraid to go against Biden because, after each of their three debates, he might get a bump in the polls.

Meanwhile, Biden has been bashing Trump at every given chance for attempting to get the leaders of Ukraine to investigate him and his son, Hunter.

The former VP recently shared: “No, I’m not going to let you take the eye off the ball here. Everybody knows what this is about. This is a Trump gambit he plays. Whenever he’s in trouble, he tries to find someone else to divert attention to.”

The Democrat continued: “No, I will not yield to what everybody is looking for here. And that is to take the eye off the ball. No one has … one scintilla of evidence that I did anything other than do my job for America as well as anybody could have done it.”

Biden also made it clear that he is not like Trump and added: “He makes fun of people. He belittles people. He lies. I don’t do any of those things. Period. The fact of the matter is this guy stood up, and he was lying. And I just pointed out, ‘You’re a liar.’ It’s a fact. He lied. Period.”
