Donald Trump States He Will NOT Wear A Face Mask Despite CDC Recommending That Everyone Does When In Public

Amid the global pandemic known as coronavirus, COVID-19, people all over the world are trying their best to practice social distancing and to stay at home as much as possible! That being said, even during necessity shopping, most like to be extra careful and wear a mask to protect them and others around them from the contagion.

However, when it comes to leading by example and trying to teach all the others who are not taking the pandemic seriously, Donald Trump is definitely not doing a good job!

The president of the United States made it very clear that he has no intention of wearing the cloth masks that have been recommended by the CDC!

While the Donald did his duty and transmitted this crucial message from the CDC, it looks like he just felt like telling everyone he will not follow the recommendation himself.

Well, if the president doesn’t do what’s necessary in a time of huge danger, why would his supporters?

So, rather than urging the Unites States citizens to wear the cloth masks in public, he argued that ‘This is voluntary. I don’t think I am going to be doing it.’

‘Wearing a face mask as I greet presidents, prime ministers, dictators, kings, queens — I just don’t see it. Behind that great resolute desk…I don’t know. Somehow, I just don’t see that for myself. Maybe I’ll change my mind,’ Trump went on to explain.

Still, he concluded with ‘it may be good,’ in stopping the spread of the coronavirus.

However, simply by dismissing it when it comes to his own person, people who look up to him might already be discouraged from wearing the masks when they go out.

This is very scary since America has actually become the epicenter of the pandemic, being now the country with, by far, the most cases – over 270,000.

At this point in time, no less than 7,000 Americans have lost their lives due to COVID-19 and it’s really shocking that there are still so many people who are not taking this seriously, the president included.
