Change.org has launched a petition for People Magazine to name Dr. Anthony Fauci their “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2020. A woman named Sandra Martin started the petition that has since caught on and gone viral. In her description for Dr. Fauci’s nomination, she mentioned that for “sapiophiles” and many others, Dr. Fauci is the “definitive Sexiest Man Alive in 2020.” A Sapiophile is a person who is attracted to intelligence rather than appearance. Dr. Fauci has become a bit of a celebrity in his own right, as he delivers hard-hitting facts to the American people regarding the Coronavirus pandemic while at the same time offering a calm reassurance that the nation will get through this.

For instance, he has announced that up to 240,000 may die and that he and the CDC are currently discussing whether all people should wear face masks when outside, all without instilling fear or panic in the population. Counter Dr. Fauci’s method of delivery with some of the others who have spoken publicly about the Coronavirus and you will quickly see that when it comes to who can deliver the hard-hitting, sobering truth and still manage to inspire hope, it is often Dr. Fauci and him alone.

The petition is seeking 1500 signatures and at the time of this writing has 1,113, proving that it will easily reach its goal.
