The star recently said to Andy Cohen that she has never managed to move past it. The 45-year-old actress said to the 52-year-old host that she still hasn’t forgiven herself for it. The star is currently promoting her new series, The Drew Barrymore Show.

As most know, Drew Barrymore has struggled personally for years, especially when she was first coming up in Hollywood as a child star. Reportedly, Barrymore struggled with substance abuse issues as a teenager and even had to go to rehab.

Regarding her mid-interview mishap, Cohen responded by claiming it wasn’t uncommon at all for people to have too many drinks on the set. He claimed there was no need to apologize for it; it happens. “You’re in a great club of people,” Cohen remarked.

According to Page Six, Drew Barrymore now has her own television show that comes out on CBS. It’ll be filmed in New York City and it debuts on the 14th of September.

Barrymore was in the headlines again this month for more bizarre reasons. For decades, there has existed a rumor that her grandfather’s body was stolen from the morgue shortly after he died.

As it turns out, the rumor was true. John Barrymore‘s body was taken by Sadakichi Hartmann and some of his friends in 1942 not long after he died. Reportedly, Barrymore’s friends wanted to have one last party with him after he died.

When she appeared on Hot Ones, Drew Barrymore confirmed the rumors and said it was true. She went on to say that there have been some “cinematic interpretations” of the incident, but for the most part, they’re entirely true.

According to multiple reports, Barrymore’s body-snatching incident inspired the 1989 comedy, Weekend at Bernie’s, as well as the 1981 movie, SOB.
