Drew Barrymore is aging naturally, gracefully, and beautifully and she’s doing it with the power of her Flower Beauty line. At 44-years-old, Drew is one of Hollywood’s leading actresses who shuns the plastic look and believes in being real. She is aging gracefully and encourages women to embrace their own beauty. You’ll find many photos of Drew on her official social media pages where she is makeup-free, playing with her children and just being very real and down-to-earth.
In a new article from Us Weekly, they caught up with Drew at the fundraiser for Charlize Theron’s Africa Outreach Project where she spoke about aging, beauty, and being an example for her two daughters Olive Barrymore Kopelman and Frankie Barrymore Kopelman.
Drew Barrymore stated the following to Us Weekly.
“I think it’s important to not care about that — but that doesn’t negate taking care of yourself so you feel the best. At the end of the day, we all need confidence and that comes from within and from the outside. It’s a very personal journey. I just can’t fall prey to bullsh*t. Actions are better than words and just living that example is probably going to be my best weapon.”

More women in Hollywood are embracing aging than ever before. It used to be that a woman’s career changed drastically once she began aging. A model’s career was completely over once she hit thirty and today there are models who are in their 70s, 80s, and even 90s. Drew Barrymore has been very vocal about self-love, self-acceptance and setting realistic standards when it comes to health and beauty.
Since stress and emotional distress can be detrimental to health, it’s important to ensure that beauty begins with health and from the inside out. Nutrition, getting enough sleep, exercising and managing stress are key components to reducing the effects of aging from the inside out. When a woman is confident in herself and isn’t fighting the aging process, but accepts it, she tends to radiate from within. What do you think of Drew Barrymore’s self-acceptance and approach to aging?
