The Rock slammed a fabricated interview that has been going around! Dwayne Johnson took to his social media of choice, Instagram, earlier today to say that he never actually dissed the ‘generation snowflake’ that is always ‘looking for a reason to be offended.’

The Fast and Furious star explained that the interview in which he supposedly said these things is completely fake and was really baffled to wake up to the news of him saying something he never actually said.

Daily Star was the outlet that published an ‘interview’ of The Rock in which he says people nowadays are always offended if someone doesn’t agree with them and it’s not the type of freedom and equality the generations before fought for.

‘Earlier today, an interview dropped, apparently with me, where I was insulting millennials. The interview never took place, it never happened, I never said any of those words. Completely untrue. A hundred percent fabricated. I was baffled when I woke up this morning.’

He went on to add that ‘I’ve gained such a great trust and equity in all of you guys all around the world over the years, and you know it is not a real DJ interview if I am ever insulting a group, a generation, or anyone, because that is not me. And that is not who I am, and it is not what we do.’

Dwayne went on to make it very clear that he never slammed any generation, be it baby boomers, millennials, the plurals or even the so-called snowflake generation.

In fact, he mocked the need to put such labels on entire groups of people by saying that he made up the tequila generation, and it’s one that you’ll definitely ‘want to join!’

But beyond his sarcastic comment, Johnson reminded his fans that he always encourages people to be who they want to be and have empathy.
