Elisabeth Moss has been making great use of her free time during the Coronavirus pandemic. She launched her own film company called Love and Squalor Pictures and is also using her public platform to remind people of the importance of safety during these troubled times. Elisabeth has won awards for her role as Offred on the hit Hulu series The Handmaid’s Tale, and now she’s reminding the public that she wore face mask before “it was cool.”

Elisabeth shared a photo of herself wearing the mask from the series and the photo is getting plenty of views. Elisabeth has 1.3 million followers and the photo has more than 102,000 likes. Fans have waited for the fourth season of the hit series, but unfortunately, filming was halted due to the pandemic.

At this point, it is unclear when filming will resume and when The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 will be released.

Elisabeth posed in a room in front of a bookcase filled with books. In the television series that is based on the 1985 novel of the same name by Margaret Atwood, women lose their rights and are subservient to men. Elisabeth plays the character June Osborne who was renamed “Offred” when she became a handmaid to Fred Waterford. The name “Offred” means Of Fred. In The Handmaid’s Tale, June/Offred would never stand in front of so many books geared towards women.

Elisabeth pulled her long, blonde hair back and didn’t have any makeup on as she covered the lower portion of her face with the leather mask. The strap reaches behind the head and features brass rings on the sides.
