Elle Fanning is living her best life and seeing her dreams come true. Sharing updates on her official Instagram account, Elle has revealed that she finished serving Cannes jury duty along with several others and under the head of Jury president Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu, the four-time Oscar-winning director behind The Revenant, Carne y Arena, and Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance). She also revealed that she’s living it up at the One & Only Palmilla Resort located in Las Cabos, Mexico.
Releasing multiple photos, Elle donned a vibrant, two-piece red bikini while she sunned herself by the ocean’s surf. Surrounded in a picturesque scene of jetting rocks, and remaining a safe distance from the ocean’s spray, Elle’s beauty was the focal point of the snap that quickly drew more than 200,000 likes.
In one playful picture, Elle can be seen propped up on her arms as the water’s tide edged it’s way a little too close for her comfort.
Elle chose a series of emojis to caption the set of photos. “🌊🌴🐚☀️🧜🏼♀️🐠🏝⛲️⛱.”
Elle also announced that she had joined the Cannes jury panel and she was thrilled to be reunited with Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu. She had worked with him in 2006 when she was only seven-years-old on his film Babel.
Now, Elle has grown so much in her craft that she was given the honor of reviewing some of the most incredible films of the year.
Elle shared several photos on her Instagram account about the experience.
She shared the following caption.
“Jury Duty Cannes 2019. Was it all a dream? Please take me back. What a privilege these past 2 weeks have been, listening to and learning from artists whom I have admired from a far. Now, calling them friends for life. The Cannes Film Festival holds a special place in my heart always. Thank you for celebrating cinema and allowing each one of us to have a voice.”
Elle is clearly still enthralled with the experience and the new relationships she has made. She also shared a throwback picture with Alejandro from Babel. She stated she was only 7-years-old at the time and he was 21.
Elle’s latest movie Teen Spirit was released in the U.S. on April 19, 2019. She next appears in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil that debuts on October 18, 2019.
