Now, the talk show host is addressing the situation!

On her latest episode, the TV personality told her live audience that ‘When we were invited, I was aware that I was going to be surrounded by people with very different views and beliefs – and I’m not talking about politics. I was rooting for the Packers and, get this, everybody in the Cowboys suite was rooting for the Cowboys. During the game they showed a shot of George and me laughing together.’

‘People were upset, they thought, ‘Why is a gay Hollywood liberal sitting next to a conservative Republican president?’ Didn’t even notice I’m holding the brand new iPhone 11,’ Ellen went on to joke.

It’s safe to say that a lot of people online were pretty outraged but one positive comment grabbed Ellen’s attention since they stated the pic gave them hope for America.

Sure enough, Ellen shared that same opinion.

She explained that she’s friends with George Bush and with a lot of other people who do not share her opinions and beliefs.

The woman stressed that it’s Okay for people to be different and that is something many have forgotten.

‘When I say, ‘Be kind to one another,’ I don’t mean only the people who think the same way that you do. I mean be kind to everyone. Does not matter. Even people who are already playing Christmas music. There’s no excuse for that, but I’m kind to them,’ Ellen joked.
