Elon Musk Is Thinking Twice About Supporting Kanye West's Run For President

When Kanye West tweeted on the 4th of July that he was running for president, Tesla CEO Elon Musk immediately responded by telling the rapper that he had his “full support.” However, after Musk read West’s lengthy interview with Forbes, it appears that the billionaire business mogul is having second thoughts.

During his “rambling” four-hour Forbes interview, West explained that he has never voted in his life, revealed that he was running under the “Birthday Party” banner, and admitted he was suspicious of a COVID-19 vaccine because he believes vaccines are “the mark of the beast.”

West also said he was taking off his MAGA hat and no longer supported President Donald Trump, he shared his belief that Planned Parenthood has been “placed inside cities by white supremacists to do the Devil’s work,” and he wants to run the White House like Wakanda in Black Panther.

When Forbes published their interview a few hours after West tweeted his presidential announcement, a Twitter user named John Crowley sent a link to Musk in response to his tweet supporting West’s presidential run and wrote: “Cmon Elon – you’re way too intelligent for this BS.”

Musk replied, “We may have more differences of opinion that I anticipated,” but has since deleted the tweet.

During the Forbes interview, the Jesus Is King rapper also called out the Democratic party for complaining that he could possibly split the black vote.

“That is a form of racism and white supremacy and white control to say that all Black people need to be Democrat and to assume that me running is me splitting the vote. All of that information is being charged up on social media platforms by Democrats,” said West.

The rapper added that he was threatened as a black man into the Democratic Party, and that’s what they are doing emotionally to his people. Kanye West noted that Joe Biden assumes he will win the entire black vote.

“The reason why this is the first day I registered to vote is because I was scared. I was told that if I voted on Trump my music career would be over. I was threatened into being in one party,” said West. “I was threatened as a Black man into the Democratic Party. And that’s what the Democrats are doing, emotionally, to my people. Threatening them to the point where this white man can tell a Black man if you don’t vote for me, you’re not Black.”
