Eminem Shouts Out To Dr. Dre On Social Media For His Birthday

Eminem and Dr. Dre, whether you love them or hate them, are easily considered one of the most iconic duos in the history of hip-hop, and probably even in the history of music, in general. According to Hot New Hip Hop, Eminem once suggested that Dre helped save his life when pill addiction was taking his life by storm.

Either way, Em and Dre have managed to put together a massive discography over the last twenty-one years, and there’s no question they are a talented set of collaborators. For that reason, it wasn’t surprising when Eminem came forward to wish the producer a happy birthday.

The outlet says that on the day that marked Dre’s 56th birthday, Eminem shouted out to the rapper and said, “U know it’s Dre Day!” The rapper went on to share a photo of him and Dre at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards, which was at the height of both of their careers.

At that time, Eminem came together to work on The Slim Shady LP, including on songs like, “My Name Is,” “Guilty Conscience,” and “Role Models,” among many others.

This marks a positive note in an otherwise negative cascade of news related to Dr. Dre. As most know, the rapper has been in the headlines repeatedly over the last 6-9 months due to his marriage to Nicole Young, which is now on the verge of collapse.

Nicole and Dr. Dre are currently going through a nasty divorce, and it has played out not only on social media but in the headlines as well. For instance, it was reported earlier this week that Nicole and her team of lawyers submitted paperwork in which they made a couple of demands of Dre.

Reportedly, Nicole saw a woman wearing some of her Chanel slides on social media, and she is now very worried that Dre is going to wind up destroying all of her belongings that still reside in the home.

Apparently, Nicole never had the time to grab her stuff because she and Dre were too busy fighting on her way out the door.
