Memes are a great way for celebrities to connect with their fans, and some know this better than others.
Rapper Eminem is known for being in touch with popular culture through his entire career, and he recently decided to have a little fun with a meme that pointed out the fact that most people have a completely different personality on the various social media platforms they use such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
The rapper made waves with his own version of the new Dolly Parton Challenge in which he used an iconic old picture of himself holding a lit stick of dynamite over his genitalia as his fake Grindr picture.
Many of Eminem’s fans seemed happy with the way he was engaging his audience, and the meme quickly started to make the rounds.
And yet, some were more critical of him, claiming that he should be more careful with how he presents himself to his younger fans.
One person said this: “Do you read all these (comments)? @eminem Thank you for who you are, your music, your story. #mybucketlist … to shake your hand. Perhaps someday. You’re truly an inspiration. Your words speak volumes. #humble #thankyou.”
Another commenter shared: “😂😂❤️ love the GRINDR one! This is a challenge going around, and Eminem just killed it 😂😂😂😂😂If you get offended by Eminem’s music, that’s the equivalent of going to see a horror movie and complaining that it’s too violent.”
This social media user stated: “I’m screaming!!! 😂😂😂😂no cap I can hear her laugh when she was typing this.if he is a gay also what’s the f*cking problem.😕”

However, it is no secret that Eminem is one of the last people to care about others’ opinions of him, and he has made that clear over the years. Nobody is exempt from his attitude, not even his youngest fans.

The hip-hop icon is well aware of his reputation in this regard and has been playing into it for quite a while.
And it looks like many of his supporters are still happy to see him going at it, judging by the responses he has generated with the last post.
Hopefully, this will continue to be the case in the future, as he has been facing some controversy around his character yet again lately.
