The rap world has been turned on its head after a recent leak seems to implicate Eminem in supporting Chris Brown in his controversial story of beating his then-girlfriend Rihanna, resulting in her hospitalization.

While the entertainment world was pretty much unanimous in shunning Brown after reports showed how heavily he had beaten Rihanna, it looks like Eminem did not share the criticism.

Of course, this is just an unconfirmed rumor so far, and it is possible that the leak was fabricated. However, it seems convincing enough for most of the rapper’s fans, who are now up in arms over the revelation.

It all started with a Reddit post, which featured a short snippet from Eminem’s “Things Get Worse,” while the song was still being worked on and was released in 2011.

The snippet obviously did not end up making it into the final version of the track, and Eminem can be heard saying that he would beat Rihanna just the same in Brown’s place, referring to her as a “b***h.”

It is still not known how the unreleased snippet managed to surface, and whether it is genuine in the first place.

Eminem has not offered any comments on the scandal, which many have seen as an indirect admission of guilt.

Some of the rapper’s fans have expressed their disappointment over their idol, and it seems like Eminem has been losing a good deal of support over this.

Some of Rihanna’s supporters say if the rapper continues to be silent on the issue, it could damage his reputation quite severely.

Eminem and Rihanna went on to work on numerous songs such as 2010’s “Love The Way You Lie,” 2012’s “Numb,” and 2013’s “The Monster.”

Most people on social media are defending the rapper.

A fan said: “Sense of humor and common sense isn’t quite so common anymore….being closed-minded, miserable sob’s is gradually becoming the new norm.”

This person claimed: “A 10-year-old line from a song that never was released! Props to him for not releasing it! Plus, he went on tour with Rhiana after this! “

This critic shared: “and y’all continue to support people like this in the music industry…..I……am speechless really….. Y’all LOVE to be HATEFUL.”

Eminem lives for publicity stunts and this might be no difference.
