According to some new reports, Emma Roberts and Garrett Hedlund are doing a great job as new parents and they have been super hands-on! As you may know, the actress gave birth to her first child, a baby boy named Rhodes back in December!
Fans have been dying to learn more about the actress’ new life at home with an infant so this update is undoubtedly very exciting!
The source shared via E! News that ‘Emma and Garrett are in good spirits at the moment. Emma has been super hands-on as a mom.’
Not too long ago, Emma Roberts reached a new milestone in her life since she turned 30 years old.
On her special day, however, she chose to just have a small, low-key celebration for several obvious reasons.
‘They had a few close friends and family over for Emma’s birthday. Nothing huge was planned. Garrett tried to throw Emma a bigger birthday party, but she didn’t want that. She wanted to keep things intimate and only be around a certain amount and group of people,’ the insider told the same news outlet.
Emma has been showing small glimpses of her mom life on social media.

For instance, she posted a black and white pic of herself with a pacifier in her mouth not too long ago and she joked in the caption that she was a ’30 baby,’ making reference to her age.

Then, she also showed a glimpse of her celebration, posting another photo of herself, this time poolside.
In the caption, Emma thanked her followers for their sweet messages: ‘🥂 cheers 🍾 thank you for the birthday wishes.’
This comes after, in January, another source told ET about the new parents’ decision to keep their son’s birth a secret for a while.
‘They barely told any of their friends and have been relying on their respective families. They have in house help that’s teaching and helping them out while they are adjusting, but they’re being really strict about quarantining and having visitors and guests.’
