Eric McCormack is breaking his silence on the rumors his Will & Grace costars, Debra Messing and Megan Mullally are feuding. He is hoping to stop any speculation regarding a rift between the ladies of the hit NBC show.

The actor spoke with Us Weekly at the Project Angel Food Angel Awards Gala over the weekend where he was asked about the rumor.

“It seems crazy. It is crazy! I think people worried about that entirely too much. The four of us get along like a house on fire, we always have,” McCormack said also referencing Sean Hayes, who rounds out the Will & Grace group.

Not long after it was revealed the sitcom revival was ending after the upcoming third season, speculation grew it was because of Mullally and Messing not getting along on set.

“The show’s ending because we want to make sure that it ends up properly, that we go out on top, that it never gets sort of lost in the shuffle. We’re going to go out. I think those 18 episodes airing in a row, NBC’s doing it all at once, which I used to love that. So, it’s going to go big. It’s going to go out in a way that I’m really going to be proud of,” McCormack further shared trying to squash the ladies fighting rumors.

Messing and Mullally unfollowed each other on social media, which fans immediately believed was an indication they were feuding. At the same time, Messing shared an Instagram post that read, “One of the best feelings is finally losing your attachment to somebody who isn’t good for you!”

Days later, the actress posted a picture with McCormack, and Hayes professing her love for the men. Mullally was not mentioned or pictured in the post.

Eric McCormack has addressed the rumors Debra Messing and Megan Mullally are feuding. He did not flat out deny the women are fighting but instead called the stories “crazy.”

The actor’s reply doesn’t exude confidence life on set is just fine. It was a flimsy answer, which came across more as his trying to avoid the hot topic rather than address it.

Neither actress haa commented on the fighting rumors, but that could change once the revival comes to an end next year. What did you think of McCormack’s response?
