According to a report from BET.com, approximately one year after getting engaged, Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels have announced her pregnancy. Reported first by Hollywood Unlocked, the Love And Hip-Hop star and the rapper are apparently gearing up to have their first baby together.

The publication cited a source who claims to have seen the reality star conducting a maternity photo-shoot to celebrate their family’s growth. Reportedly, the Love and Hip-Hop alum will announce the news during an episode of the show of the same name.

Previously, fans speculated on her social media that she might’ve been pregnant on account of a visible baby bump. However, the reality star addressed the rumors and explained it away by blaming her diet, including her fiancé’s delicious Jamaican food cooking.

Since the news came out, neither parties have revealed the news, however, it wouldn’t be her first child. Erica has another child already, but it’s Safaree’s first. The Love and Hip-Hop: New York alum has a son named King Conde, however, his age isn’t known.

Moreover, both Safaree and Erica have stayed relatively mum on their social media, especially in the case of Erica’s already-born son, who has never appeared on her accounts. As it was previously reported, Safaree and Mena first got engaged back on Christmas Eve 2018, but they haven’t released an official date for the wedding yet.

Fans of the rapper know he was previously linked to Nicki Minaj for a little while. In fact, when Safaree’s uncle was savagely murdered, the rapper took to his social media to complain about Minaj not coming out and commemorating his uncle’s death.

Reported by Vh1 back in 2017, the outlet confirmed that the police had officially caught the perpetrator. Safaree said on his IG that he was pleased to hear the men had been caught, however, it still didn’t take away his mourning and pain from his uncle’s passing.

The rapper said it gave him “some closure,” not a lot, “but a bit.”
