Ethan Hawke Praises Daughter Maya Following Her Stranger Things Debut With Loving Instagram Message

Ethan Hawke is singing his daughter Maya’s praises following her Stranger Things debut. The proud papa used social media to let his baby girl not only know she is an amazing young woman, but she is one talented actress.

It is about time the world discover what Ethan already knew. His daughter Maya is going to be a star. The 20-year-old joined the third season of the hit Netflix show, which started streaming on July 4th.

Although fans are going crazy over the new season, especially the ending post-credits scene, it appears no one is a bigger fan of the show than the Reality Bites star. Ethan used social media to call out his fabulous kid, whose mother is the gorgeous Uma Thurman.

“Some of you may have missed her in last year’s BBC production of Little Women. Some of you may have missed her work at Juilliard. I know many missed out on numerous high school productions, heck I even missed a few, and I’m her father. Some of you may know her music, some may not. But Ladies & Gentleman, get to know MAYA HAWKE. She’s the real thing,” gushed Ethan in a caption alongside a picture of Maya in character on Stranger Things.

The famous actor’s message and praise of his oldest child did not go unnoticed. Several of his famous friends, as well as her costars on the Netflix series, flooded the comments with messages to the father and daughter duo.

Fans were in agreement that Maya Hawke is one talented young lady. However, several users were shocked to realize she is the daughter of Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman.
