Why all the hate? Teresa Giudice is firing back after fans continue to question her close friendship with Real Housewives of New Jersey villain Danielle Staub. For Giudice, it all comes down to how Staub treats her behind the scenes.

During a weekend event with fellow Bravolebrities Dorinda Medley and Kelly Dodd, fans asked Giudice to explain why she has remained friends with Staub over the years. In reply, Giudice revealed that Staub has always been nice to her, which makes it difficult for her to mean back.

“Yes, I’m friends with her. Alright, listen when someone’s nice to you, how can you be mean to them?” Giudice explained.

According to All About The Real Housewives, Giudice then shared how Staub was one of the few people who supported her when her mom was hospitalized. Over the course of three months, Staub called Giudice everyday to check on her and ask how her mother was doing. Although Staub is viewed as a villain on the show, Giudice urged fans to trust her this season.

That said, Giudice admitted that she would stop being friends with Staub if she ever does anything that hurts her or her family. She also clarified that Staub is not her best friend, despite what Staub has said in the past.

Dodd and Medley, on the other hand, are not fans of Staub. In fact, Dodd revealed that Staub annoys the “s**t” out of her, while Medley is very cautious whenever she gets involved with Staub.

Despite the warnings, Giudice did not back down and stuck to her guns, even when fans started booing her response.

Teresa Giudice, of course, has a lot more to worry about than what fans think about her friendships. The RHONJ star is currently awaiting the release of her husband, Joe Giudice, who is about to finish his stint in prison. Once he gets out, the family will have to deal with Joe’s deportation, which could get ugly fast.
