Fans of Fast and The Furious should thank Vin Diesel’s daughter for getting Cardi B into the latest film, a new report from E! Online revealed. This Monday, the actor stopped by the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live! where he revealed that his 4-year-old daughter, Pauline, was the one to suggest the rapper for his new movie.

Pauline, who’s named after the late Paul Walker, suggested Cardi B be in the movie. The actor claims he said, “that’s a great idea,” while his daughter was listening to the song, “I Like It.”

When Jimmy asked him whether or not other actors had asked to be in the film, Diesel explained that “surprisingly,” there were a lot of offers, even from Oscar winners. The actor admits that 20 years ago, none of them ever would’ve asked.

In the latest addition to the franchise, John Cena, Helen Mirren, and Charlize Theron will all appear. With that said, however, Diesel explained that there were still some surprises in terms of cameos. Vin went on to say that he didn’t want to reveal too much.

Vin Diesel’s daughter apparently has a lot of requests, many of which the actor obliges. For instance, for her fourth birthday party, she wanted Swae Lee and Post Malone to perform. Diesel remarked that he doesn’t know what she’ll ask for this year.

Apparently, when he asked her previously who she wanted for this year’s birthday party, she claimed her “uncle Ludacris.” The Saving Private Ryan alum went on to say that the sweetest thing about his daughter and Ludacris’ daughter is they were first friends together. He added, “so, that’s kind of cute.”

While Vin Diesel has been in a lot of films lately, his supposed behind-the-scenes drama with Dwayne Johnson led to problems between the pair. A report from Dylan Fisher last year, however, claimed he and Johnson are now doing a lot better than before.

In August, Diesel shared a post thanking the actor for expanding the Fast and Furious franchise. He also wished him well following his wedding to Lauren Hashian.
