Fantasia Barrino And Her Husband, Kendall Taylor, Share Photos And Videos Of Their Second Adorable Grandchild

Even though Fantasia Barrino is only 35, she is already a grandmother to not one, but two children, as the American Idol star brought up the exciting news about the arrival of her second grandchild on social media.

The proud music celebrity and actress announced that her stepson, Trey, from her marriage with Kendall Taylor, had welcomed a baby boy, Kyan, at the end of December 2019.

The American Idol winner said: “Let’s give a Rock Soul welcome to the new addition to our family! Kyan Jeremiah!!! We are absolutely proud of @treybrice2 @_kmccarthy for being masterful parents at such a young age. No matter what life throws at these two, God has them covered in heaven, and we have their backs on earth!”

The happy grandfather took to social media to share two video clips of the newest addition of the family.

In the first video, Trey can be seen with his newborn child in his hands, while his eldest son, Khoen, is also present to meet his little brother.

She wrote: “New Year: Before 2019 ends, God delivered a message to our family last night that was titled “Kyan” (my second grandson). As a youth that was ignorantly embracing a life of darkness, I used to pray just to see the age of 21. But when I became a man, I had to put away all of my childish ways, and now my prayer is to live to see these two make it to 21 themselves! Fantasia and her husband’s first grandchild, Khoen, was born back in 2016 to his parents — Trey and Kayla McCarthy.

However, the arrival of the little boy caused some turmoil at the time, because many people were convinced that Khoen was the son of Zion — Fantasia’s daughter from her previous relationship, who was only 15-years-old when the paternity misconceptions started circulating the Web.

Fantasia also followed Kendall’s example and shared that she had become a grandmother for a second time. The music star posted a series of photographs of the young parents with their infant baby.

The “Bittersweet” performer captioned her post with the statement that she and her husband were proud that Trey and Kayla were so good at parenting at such a young age.

The singer also concluded that no matter what life threw at these two, God had them covered in heaven in heaven, and they had their backs on earth.
