Felicity Huffman Prison Stint Details Revealed - What Will Life Behind Bars Be Like For Actress?

New details have emerged regarding Felicity Huffman’s upcoming prison stint. The actress was sentenced to 14 days in prison for her involvement in the college admissions scandal, Operation Varsity Blues.

TMZ is reporting Huffman will turn herself in to the Federal Correctional Institute in Dublin, California on October 25th. Even though the actress is supposed to be serving a two-week sentence, there is a chance she won’t be locked up the entire time.

There are constant issues with prisons being overcrowded. However, since Huffman’s prison of choice is a minimum-security prison more like a retreat than jail, it is less likely to be overcrowded.

Plus, the case involving parents buying their kids way into college has been so high-profile which could ensure that Huffman severed her entire sentence. It is only two weeks after all.

As mentioned above, it is a minimum-security prison. TMZ has given insight into what life will be like for the Desperate Housewives alum behind bars. Huffman will be searched and awarded an orange jumpsuit upon entry to the facility.

She will also reportedly receive, three pairs of underwear, a hygiene kit with a comb, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste and one roll of toilet paper. The celebrity website claims Huffman will need to conserve the toilet paper. She only gets one roll every other week. Since she is only there for two weeks, her first roll may be the only one issued to her.

Wake up time is sharply at 6:30 am, with all inmates being required to make their bed daily. TMZ explains most of Huffman’s time will be spent inside, but there is designated time for her to tan. Sunbathing is allowed on the specified sun deck from 4PM-8:30pm Friday-Sunday.

Prisoners are allowed one hour of recreational time, which she can enjoy in a common area full of TV’s, cards and board games. Lunch is served promptly from 11:30am to 12:30pm. All food must be eaten in the cafeteria area.

In a few weeks, Felicity Huffman will be reporting for her 14-day prison stint. The facility allows time for innates to get a tan, so it can’t be all that bad of a place. It will certainly not be what the actress is used to, but honestly, the conditions could be so much worse.
