Felicity Huffman Reports To Prison Where She Will Remain For The Next 2 Weeks!

The actress has reported to a prison in Dublin, California, where she will remain for the next 14 days. As you may know, Felicity Huffman has been sentenced to two weeks behind bars for her involvement in the biggest college entrance fraud case in the country.

The time has come for her to serve her sentence.

The Desperate Housewives actress pleaded guilty to paying $15,000 in order to raise daughter Sophia Macy‘s SAT scores so that she would get into a better college.

Aside from the 14 days in prison, she will continue to be on probation and is also expected to do hundreds of hours of community service.

In addition, she was also required to pay a $30,000 fine but it is reported that she already did before going to prison.

A rep for Huffman released a statement via HollywoodLife that says: ‘Felicity Huffman reported for sentencing to the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, CA. today. Ms. Huffman’s prepared to serve the term Judge [Indira] Talwani ordered. She will start serving the sentence Judge Talwani imposed—one year of supervised release, with conditions also including 250 hours of community service after she is released.’

As for how she feels about having to stay in jail for two weeks, one source previously told the news outlet that ‘Felicity is not complaining about her sentence, she’s being very stoic but that does not mean she is not scared. Two weeks locked up is really daunting. She’s doing her best to mentally prepare and she is very focused on putting one foot in front of the other and fulfilling all the demands of the court.’

A second insider also mentioned that for the actress, this was a learning experience and she is determined to focus on all the positives that came with it.
