MTV recently fired Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans after her husband, David Eason, shot and killed the family dog, and it appears the network was prepared to part ways with the controversial couple. Less than one day after MTV announced they had fired Evans, a report emerged claiming they had already hired her replacement.

According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Jade Cline – star of Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant – will join Teen Mom 2 this season. Apparently, producers had a back-up plan just in case they fired Evans, and they have been filming with Cline for weeks.

“The network plans to move Jade from Young and Pregnant, and she will be the fifth girl on Teen Mom 2,” says a production insider.

The Young and Pregnant girls are currently filming their upcoming season, and all of the footage Cline has shot will now be part of Teen Mom 2. The other TM2 stars have also started filming, and the MTV camera crews have officially said goodbye to Evans and Eason.

Cline is 21 years old, and she has one daughter, Kloie Kenna Austin. She may not be as controversial as her predecessor, but she has had her own scandal. Cline once posted and then deleted a selfie where she appeared to be doing cocaine.

But, that one poor choice pales in comparison to Evans and Eason’s behavior over the years. MTV had already fired Eason over his hate-filled social media posts, and the network knew Evans would eventually suffer the same fate.

After they fired Eason, it became nearly impossible to shoot with Evans because of Eason’s meddling which led to less screen time for her. And, after the dog controversy, producers finally decided they had had enough.

Multiple reports claim Evans found out about her firing at the same time as her fans, which led to a lot of “crying.” She and Eason aren’t ready to leave reality TV just yet. The couple is reportedly turning to We TV’s Marriage Boot Camp and will sign on for an upcoming season.

The show has been trying to get Evans and Eason for a while, and now that their contracts with MTV are over, they are free to battle it out once again in front of a new camera crew. However, TMZ is reporting that the show wants him to undergo a psychological evaluation first to make sure he isn’t a threat to Jenelle Evans or the Marriage Boot Camp cast and crew.
