My Chemical Romance’s Frank Iero slammed Joe Jonas after he leaked the other band’s secret reunion plans! During an interview, Frank dragged the Jonas Brother member by reminding him that he and his brothers have and always will be a product of Disney!

It is safe to say that most people were looking forward to the Jonas Brothers’ reunion for the sake of nostalgia but not everyone was as excited to welcome them back.

One of those is MCR’s Frank Iero, who, while a guest on The Zach Sang Show, threw some shade at the brother trio.

‘I don’t understand why you would do an interview about your band and talk about someone else’s band. I think they’re trying to rebrand their band as a ‘real’ rock band and they’re trying to mention as many rock bands and trying to get, like, synonymous with other things and people aren’t gonna forget that you’re a Disney band bro, sorry it’s not gonna happen,’ Frank said on the radio show.

Obviously, he was a bit upset!

This was Frank’s way of responding to a previous interview for KISS FM UK during which Joe revealed the Jonas Brothers heard My Chemical Romance rehearsing in NYC, in a pretty close by location.

And since the band had been split up for a while, his reveal was definitely a reunion leak.

However, it is safe to say that Joe had no bad intentions – the singer was just excited since he’s a fan and did not realize what he did.

As for the Jonas Brothers having a massive Disney platform, that is undoubtedly true but that is not to say they have no talent!

After all, they were even nominated for a Grammy in the Best New Artist category back in 2009 and that makes any artist are ‘real’ as they can be!
